About Harvest Education

Harvest Education was developed  by LaShekia Chatman as an in-school complementary program that utilizes the methods of exploratory, interdisciplinary learning. Its primary target group is students  grades 1-12, featuring a complementary community extension  for adults.  Independently, Harvest is designed to create  “learning hubs,” to enhance home-based school groups with an expansive, global approach through the humanities and STEAM.  Harvest further aspires to contribute towards the ethical, academic, professional, and personal enrichment of young minds to assist students in identifying their unique learning styles and support the development of critical analysis skills. We encourage students to approach academics and their world with continued curiosity and a desire to explore and express.
