Well here we are! My house is in disarray, (way more than usual!) my two daughters are living on Nutella sandwiches and god knows what else! My husband, a farmer, is flat out getting ready for seeding - one of the busiest times of the year and here I am, hopefully clicking on all the right buttons to get this venture up & running!

I've realised recently that Harvested has been a long time coming. I had a crack at opening my own giftware store some years ago in our local town, but it was pre-social media and circa dial-up days, so as much as I loved it, it just wasn't feasible in a small country town at that time. Now thanks to Facebook, Instagram, blogging & online shopping, customer bases are potentially HUGE!

I work in a local school part time and now that my girls are growing up & becoming more and more independent, life is starting to get a little easier and I'm getting a lot more ME time!

I've always loved shopping, decorating, fashion and art and love sharing my buys with friends. There's something very cool about a person asking where you bought something!

Obviously people can shop my products online but I'll also be offering in-home markets. Spending an evening or afternoon with your friends, shopping, sipping champagne.. I mean - it just doesn't get any better! And I must make mention here of the beautiful clothing store, Haven Industries for the inspiration behind the in-home markets too! After hosting one of their parties in Adelaide, I was totally convinced that they were onto something really clever!

I've spent hour upon hour trawling the internet and local markets, emailing creators, researching web design companies, posting on Facebook and Instagram, constantly checking my phone, designing marketing material, ALL to round up what I think, is seriously some of the best stuff I've ever seen! And, most impressively - all this on our terrible internet plan! (Only my fellow out-of-towners will fully understand the impressiveness of this!!!)

I'm SO excited for everyone to see what I've collated and I really hope that you all love these products as much as I do!
